Baby glider and ottoman – Your child is unlike any other, so why should your child’s furniture look just like everyone else’s? You probably grateful for the Stork Craft Glider and Ottoman from a friend or relative of the baby shower, or even bought one myself, only to get it home and realize that the furniture lacks personality and style you had planned for your nursery. Since the baby glider and ottoman sets are made of wood and have removable pads, you can customize them to match your nursery needs.
Remove the cushions from the baby glider and ottoman and set them aside. Sand any exposed wood surfaces, remove the finish and prepare furniture and paint. Wipe the dust away with your cloth. Tape of any metal parts or other non-wood mechanisms. Cover timber with primer, the priming wider wood surfaces with larger brush and in crevices with the smaller brush. Clean your brushes, and then use them to paint.
Spray the front of your stencil with adhesive, and then attach it to the areas you want to customize with animals, characters or other images; up in the middle of the front or back of the glider chair back is an obvious choice. Apply the paint evenly over the stencil, paint in one direction. Peel off the stencil before the paint dries.
Rip apart the seams of the baby glider and ottoman pillows using your seam ripper. Put the bags inside them. Mark the pieces in a way that you know from where they were removed. Place the fabric with the outside down. Place the pieces of fabric, remove the new fabric, scattered; you will use these pieces as templates. Trace around the pieces.
